Urban Grind

We came here on the recommendation of a Wanaka local. The service was excellent, with a very attentive waiter. The food came out very quickly. Their Eggs Benedict was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Nice decor and atmosphere. Would definitely return.

I'm working on a novel and it was a great place to sit, write, eat, and have coffee. The big chains can learn a lot from this place.

Super great spot for coffee or brunch. They do a great iced latte with plenty of alternative milk options. The creamy miso mushrooms on sourdough are super yum and one of my favourite breakfast options in Wanaka. Would be even better if they offered a few more vege or vegan options to balance out the fantastic selection of meats etc but overall really impressed with the quality of the food, the decor and the staff.

Amazing food and coffee. The pancakes are delicious, definitely not just your conventional pancake breakfast!

Great cafe with an excellent choice of meals and drinks. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They suggested local sightseeing which was really beautiful and helped us plan our trip.
