Salvation Army - Family Store

It's cheaper than buying new, but not what I remember a second hand store being. This place can be quite expensive for a second hand store, long gone are days of a shopping bag for a couple of dollars. Anything that has a brand name, will cost more. They do have a good range of goods though, and you can still get really cheap items, it's just the clothing seems to be a bit pricey.

When we went to South Island, I visited this place just as part of my visit and had some quite interesting things here. I was able to find a small lamp for a very discounted price.

Went to the Queenstown branch awesome selection of clothes and nicknacks. very pleasant staff and great great prices. Worth a look if you are looking for a deal.

Love this store. Have had some good finds in here at good prices. Always pop in when I visit Wanaka. Staff friendly and helpful
