Just stopped there for lunch on our way up north. Wow!! Impressive food, we had the mussels & fries & the pork sandwich. So fresh & tasty. Great hosts, very friendly.

Staff were very welcoming, as were the locals. Enjoyed our brief stop, got some good info on local sightseeing- lots of friendly banter. We'll be back!

Call in for the pies, and pulled pork sandwich and be truly entertained by your host in genuine unabashed Kiwi style. Great fun!

Great pub grub, great personality. Loved our visit. Very welcoming and lots of laughter. Dinner was great, make sure you are hungry. Loads of history.
