Costar Pet Lodge

I would not recommend Costar Cattery to other pet owners. The owner (wife) is extremely inflexible. We left our cat there over the New Years period but we were rained out camping in the coromandel and we're hoping to pick her up on New Years Day, two days earlier than expected. Despite leaving two voicemails which were not returned and turning up to take our cat she yelled us off her property and would not give us our cat. We had to make a 2 1/2 hour return trip the following day to pick up the cat during the stated pick up time. The lady who looked after the cats was lovely and caring, as was the owner's husband. So in short, your pet will be well looked after but you may be yelled at by the owner who is angry, irrational and inflexible and admits that after 32 years in the game she is over dealing with customers!!
