      There are two things a fish and chip shops needs to deliver to retain it's customers, and at Templeton Takeaways, I am a customer for life.

      The first, but not main reason, is their enthusiastic attitude toward the customer. Nothing ever seems to be a problem, even when you're 'that order' that has to pay with shrapnel and two different EFTPOS cards. I love how friendly they are!

      The second and main reason I go to Templeton Takeaways, is the quality of their chips. Always perfectly cooked - a fluffy inside with that delectable golden crunch on the outside. About 2.90$ a scoop, but considering the semi-rural location, and the quality of product, I happily pay it. Their chicken satay patties are always a winner, with two coming away with me on each visit.

      Please note, this chippery is located on Kirk Road, not Main South Road.

      The hot dog and chips here are yummy and the oil is changed regularly which you pick up straight away in the taste. Shop is very clean as well and parking outside.
