Strand Motels

This is not a flash motel. But its one of the best located and value for money places to stay in Tauranga. The owners are absolutely lovely, and the rooms are fully self-contained. Shops are a short bus ride away. Its pretty much in the middle of town, a walk away from most things, a walk away from buses, a bus ride away from several supermarkets. But also right across the road from the fish market is a selling point. Its a very busy onsite eatery but also sells fresh and well priced seafood you can take back to your unit and cook yourself. When I go back, The Strand is the only place I will consider staying
