great service and had just what we needed

Pretty good! Well stocked for a small store, I was able to find most things I'd need in a full grocery shop. Only complaints are that there's barely ever any hot food and also they've forgot to swipe items and overcharged me on a few occasions (being a tourist town some of their staff don't speak much English)

Good for the basics but not cheap prices. Best to grab your shop on the way into hanmer. Is in the middle of town though so nice and easy to grab things from.

Probably one of the more stocked four squares around. This store caters for the large tourist base in Hanmer Springs and has a reasonable range of everyday purchase items. Prices are what you would expect from a Tourist location so if you want cheaper then you will need to shop at a supermarket closer to Christchurch. Gourmet Pizza's are sold here and are delicious if you are desiring a yummy quick meal.

This store is well stocked for the area. The opening hours are also good for the small town. It is well stocked and the range is good. Staff are friendly, there is not alot of them around the store but they are at the counter.
