Cosy, intimate fine dining restaurant. Was very impressed with the presentation and flavours of my meal. Good place for a date if you want to chat and not be disturbed. Excellent wine selection, also!

I havent used the restaurant but was a local at the bar upstairs. Cosy friendly and party environment and great to meet lots of locals.

Simply awesome - some of the best food in New Zealand. This intimate restaurant has the best huge log fire and is welcoming and cosy. Unpretentious service and creative dishes using quality local product - I have tried Paua, Hare and Venison here amongst other things, all of which were firsts for me and did not disappoint. This restaurant is consistently good, having first visited 14 years ago and returning again in the last couple of years. The upstairs bar is great for an early evening / after dinner cocktail or two!

Would definitely recommend the bunker, great tasting food and good service.
