Excellent meal at Coalfire last night. We shared the mixed platter, the ribs with the smoky bbq sauce were superb. Perfectly cooked sirloin steak too. Excellent service in a warm comfortable environment. Highly recommend.

Expensive, average food and not very inviting staff. We came here on our last day in QT and it was not a good experience for us. The staff weren’t very friendly and the service was very slow, it took 30 minutes for al our meals to come out and there was only 3 of us. The portion wasn’t great at all very small for the price we paid. The place however was clean and the atmosphere was okay.

Quite expensive for what it is! A little dark and cramped - had to sit in the bar section because the rest was full. Food was pretty standard, good but nothing to write home about. Good location, but there are better options in Queenstown.
