There are two typise of grade A safety glass which are Toughened Safety Glass and Laminate Safety Glass. Toughened safety glass is 4-5 times stronger than ordinary glass of the same thickness. In the event of toughened glass breaking, it fractures into small fragments significantly reducing risk of injury.
Laminate safety glass is made of 2 or more sheets of glass bonded together with an inter-layer. This inter-layer holds the glass together when broken reducing the risk of injury.
