Took a friend here for her birthday and had a delicious Big breakfast which we shared, beautifully presented and was delicious! Good coffees and service was pleasant by attentive staff.

We had trouble hearing each other much of the time, to the extent that we probably won’t return, because it isn’t the first time this has been our experience here. I’d advise potential diners to ask for seating in the quietest corner and to book well ahead to ensure this.

We have had lunch here several times now. The service is always excellent and friendly. We sat inside but there are also a few outside tables available. Would be nice to visit in winter when the fire is going.

A lovely lunch there yesterday. Friendly efficient staff and nice food. Wine list could have been a bit more detailed as I ordered bubbles but did have a liqueur in it. My ignorance though lol. All in all a great experience

Nice fresh salads, cooked breakfast and cakes. Black pudding (my love) a little under seered for my taste but good quality. A notable place if you are in Waikanae.
