General Info

The Montessori Philosophy and the work of Maria Montessori is the foundation upon which the philosophy of Montessori Educare is built. As passionate educators, we empower children to develop a healthy self-image through the nurturing of their physical, emotional, social, spiritual and cognitive needs. The children's self esteem grows in a positive environment where we sincerely care and recognise that each child and their family is unique and bring with them diverse knowledge, understandings and needs. The children's innate love of learning is encouraged and we understand the importance of support and compassion in preparing them for life. We show the utmost respect for all children by offering them the freedom to learn at their own pace according to their own interests within a structured setting. We prepare everything within the environment with only the child in mind and ensure they have access to everything they need without having to wait for adult help. Not only do we advocate child independence but we also promote an atmosphere that encourages social interaction for cooperative learning and peer-teaching. Children learn to respect and celebrate each other's efforts and to take care not only of themselves, but of others and their environment. As trained professionals, we have complete confidence that the materials and activities provided within Montessori Educare's programme will facilitate each child to reach their fullest potential. We almost sent our kids to a kindy until we heard about the Montessori through a friend of ours. We live 20mins away but the travel is definitely worth it and it has given our kids the best start in preparation for school. It's such a calm environment in the class rooms and the teachers are lovely! Couldn't ask for anymore. Highly recommended!

Fantastic centre! After my daughter being 'lost' in the chaos of a very busy early childhood centre, the move to montessori was perfect. She has gained so many skills, and so much confidience, and the staff are incredibly supportive, helpful and welcoming. This is truely a centre that is about the children, the philosophy is amazing and I found that the many misconceptions about the 'montessori way' were so far off from the reality of this wonderful centre. And it is not soley focussed on educational learning, there is so much other learning about emotions, respect, social etiquette, manners, encouragment, and caring for others. Please look into montessori when considering where to send your child!

Two of my children have attended Montessori here and I can absolutely say that it's a wonderful environment for kids. The staff are wonderful, and they don't just look after the kids enrolled with them but they care about the children's families as well. My kids have blossomed here!
