General Info

The Montessori Philosophy and the work of Maria Montessori is the foundation upon which the philosophy of Montessori Educare is built. As passionate educators, we empower children to develop a healthy self-image through the nurturing of their physical, emotional, social, spiritual and cognitive needs. The children's self esteem grows in a positive environment where we sincerely care and recognise that each child and their family is unique and bring with them diverse knowledge, understandings and needs. The children's innate love of learning is encouraged and we understand the importance of support and compassion in preparing them for life. We show the utmost respect for all children by offering them the freedom to learn at their own pace according to their own interests within a structured setting. We prepare everything within the environment with only the child in mind and ensure they have access to everything they need without having to wait for adult help. Not only do we advocate child independence but we also promote an atmosphere that encourages social interaction for cooperative learning and peer-teaching. Children learn to respect and celebrate each other's efforts and to take care not only of themselves, but of others and their environment. As trained professionals, we have complete confidence that the materials and activities provided within Montessori Educare's programme will facilitate each child to reach their fullest potential. We love the Montessori staff who provide a supportive and educational environment for our kids. Its a great place to send your children if you want a quality pre-school education in a relaxed atmosphere where kids are able to explore and learn at their own pace.

Fantastic centre with awesome staff! Plenty of opportunities for learning and discovery without the general chaos of a traditional kindy.

I’m thrilled with our choice to send our children to Montessori Educare, and can’t rate the centre, and teachers highly enough! The children are most certainly the key focus here - we’ve loved how they are supported and encouraged to explore and develop their independence, social skills, self-esteem, respect and care for themselves and others, love of learning etc – and it’s all done at their own pace, in a calm and interesting environment, and always with bucket loads of fun!

A supportive and very professional team. My child has been here since the middle of this year and continues to receive much understanding and support with development in preparation for Primary School next year. Highly recommended.

After over a year of my fun loving son being upset and clingy every time I dropped him to his preschool, a friend recommended trying Montessori and within a week he was happy and settled. Since then all four of my children have gone through Montessori and they have each loved different aspects of it. My eldest loved learning about the world around him, my next thrived on the arts and crafts and the positive connections she made with her teachers who she still speaks of fondly, my third loved outside play and the independence of choosing activities that interested her and our last is loving the connections with friends, the celebrations of different cultures and traditions, and making her own porridge in the morning! We have especially loved the balanced approach of Montessori Educare and the way they encourage children to be responsible and appropriately independent. They provide a safe, warm, fun environment for the children to play, explore and learn.
