Wee Red Barn

We stopped here whilst driving past about 11years ago, so had to stop again when we drove past this month. The staff was friendly and the products we bought nice.

Visited here once. This place is amazing and grows strawberries all year around, which is a miracle given NZ weather. The most amazing strawberries, and so worth the trip. They're a proper farm shop where you can find all your fruit and veggie needs, and types of fruit and veg you might not even consider. Free-range eggs are available for purchase too. Really yummy fruit, fresh, well grown, and cared for. The best place for strawberries - big, juicy, tasty, and so perfect!

You’d be the best if you avoid Wee Red Barn. As a worker, I can confirm that they sell expired jars as well as rotten, frozen berries deliberately. Those berries are normally supposed to get fed to the pigs but the owner tries to get profit out of everything. Protect yourself and your family and do not buy any of their products. You might risk your health.

I love this place for the summer time, I always go here to get lots of fresh and superb quality berries.
