Loved taking the kids here, probably a bit boring for really small children but overall a great experience watching the little penguins.

Was sold out must be too popular was disappointed but even more so when we were ushered very rudely from public land for watching from the sidelines .. only to find ourselves with the best view from the car park on our way back to the car . No thanks to the discusting service from your staff even if there was room in the seats next time id rather donate to the penguins somewhere else and view from the shore down the road then support your business

My daughter and I loved it here! Took a while for the penguins to come to shore but when they did it was worth the wait - heaps of them and they're so cute. Arrive early for a decent park and decent seat. Love the fact that they're strict on not using cell phones too as it can frighten the penguins, we saw several people being told off and one even asked to leave!

A must see in Oamaru is the little blue penguins, this is moderately priced for a seat to watch the little fellas come ashore as dusk falls. In the summer it is advised to get there early as it fills up and the area is swamped in tourist every night.
