<p>Couldrey House is an historic Victorian-Edwardian family home set in a beautiful garden within Wenderholm Regional Park. A mere 40-minute drive north of Aucklands CBD, this gracious colonial house sits between Wenderholm Beach and the Puhoi river. Fully furnished in a mixture of styles reflecting the eras and preoccupations of some notable past owners, the two storey house has nine rooms on display. Visitors are warmly welcomed by one of our Volunteer hosts who can provide commentary if requested or alternatively leave you to discover the historic house and grounds at your leisure. Couldrey House is also available for intimate wedding ceremonies, workshops, meetings, school visits and private group visits outside our opening hours. Usual opening hours are Weekends 14 pm all year, Weekdays 14 pm 26 DecemberEaster Monday. all public holidays (except Christmas Day and Good Friday). This may change due to Covid-19 restrictions. Admission Adults: $5 Children (under 16 years, accompanied by an adutl): FREE Friends of Couldrey House Members: FREE Cash or Eftpos is available. Please note: This is an historic building and access for the disabled is limited as there are steps at each entrance and the house is two storey.</p>

The Oxford Community Aquatic Centre is an outdoor heated pool which opens in late November each year, and includes a 4-lane 25 metre main pool with a built-in easy access ramp.
This facility also features a learners pool with toddlers stand for the smaller children.
Monday to Friday: 8.30 am - 6.30 pm
Saturday to Sunday: 10 am - 7 pm
Public Holidays: 10 am - 7 pm
Christmas Day: Closed

Welcome to the Gisborne Community Early Education Centre - Te Whare Tiaki Tamariki.

Our team of qualified and experienced early childhood education teachers provide a warm and welcoming environment where children are encouraged to learn and develop through the all-important first 5 years of their life.

We cater for up to 45 children, including 15 children aged under 2 years.  Our staff/child ratio is 1:3 in the infant area and 1:4 in the toddler/young child area.  

Children aged 3 and 4 years are entitled to the 20 hours per week free early childhood education allowance.  

Our opening hours are 7.45am to 5.15pm, Monday to Friday, and we are open year round with the exception of statuary holidays, the Christmas/new year period and the Tuesday following Easter Monday.   

We are affiliated to the New Zealand Childcare Association and are a part of NZEI Te Riu Roa. Inquiry Learning, Rie Pikler and Reggio are some of the learning programmes that we run.
