Growing Minds Mathematics Tuition

Growing Minds provides beneficial, enjoyable Mathematics support for our daughters on a one to one basis. The tutoring is carried out in a suitable focused environment.
Parents are kept well informed of progress either verbally, via email or an end of term report, which we found particularly useful.
The rewards have been awesome in assisting our girls to not only reach achieved standards in Mathematics, but in also giving them the confidence to strive for higher grades.

Steven has provided maths tuition for both my Son and Daughter to help them through the NCEA assessment years.
I cannot speak highly enough of his professionalism, commitment to his students, and skilled teaching.

I employed Steven Tubby during my eldest child's NCEA year in order to alleviate her anxiety and distress at potentially not passing mathematics. Steven was extremely accommodating towards her needs, with session times to suit our busy schedules and quickly build a responsive rapport with her. I was impressed with his ability to connect with her, and make life easier for her in mathematics. At the beginning of the next year I employed him to work with my younger daughter for the same reasons and have had the same fantastic results despite the girls being very different.

Steven quickly built relationships with the girls and provided appropriate programming to ensure they passed their subjects with ease, lessening the stress and anxiety in both them - and me!

Our son Olivier has been attending Steven's tuition for a year. He has gone from being intimidated by his maths studies to growing in confidence every lesson. Olivier's attitude is now such a positive one and he is revelling in his successes including receiving a diligence award in Maths in recognition of his achievements. This is in no small part attributable to Steven's patient and guiding hand. This partnership in learning between Olivier and Steven has been worth every bit of the financial commitment.
