Have had some good nights here except the owner can be quite rude. Talking down to the staff in front of customers. The staff are generally lovely though and they do good drinks

Seen the staff and owners argue and swear at each other in the bar here. Have had good nights here before but wouldn't go out of my way to go back

This motel is a great place to base yourself for some day hikes in the Nelson Lakes area, which is just gorgeous and well worth a visit. It's a short walk to Lake Rotoiti and the visitor centre
