Volstead Craft Beer & Cocktail Lounge

5 stars as this place is fantastic and I love coming here. First off: staff are amazing, friendly, and have a great knowledge of all the drinks on tap and menu. Service is great. I love the outdoor seating area with the gas fire, it's cosy and comfortable and in winter a lovely place to be with a group of friends. Inside is cosy as well, nice seating, great atmosphere. Food is good, I like the fries a lot. Plenty of choices when it comes to craft beer and cider, I have had some delicious drinks here that I haven't been able to find elsewhere. Great place to go if you're looking to try something new but in a relaxed environment. One of my favourite places to wind down after a long day. Conveniently just off Riccarton road so easy to get to and find transport if you need it.

Good selection of good beer with a comfortable setting. The bar tender is really knowledgeable about his beer selection and allows you to try the beers you are interested in before you decide. It's got a good outdoor area for sunny days and a nice and relaxed vibe.

Awesome place with heaps of craft beer. I had a pint of Garage Project's 'Death from above' to go with the spicy tortilla chips and salsa. Good beer! Atmosphere is relaxing and staff is polite. Pretty dear though.

Hard to get hold of to book and a tad expensive. The food is good and the beer is divine.
