The Physics Room

I have been signed up to The Physics Room's newsletter for years and I really enjoy what it has to offer. Great unique exhibitions of arts, crafts and design of all mediums often showcasing the best hidden talent that Christchurch, Canterbury and New Zealand has to offer. Highly recommend to go visit - especially if you are new to the city. One of my favourite exhibitions they had was a photography show of how Christchurch used to look back in the past and how it's changed over the years. Another interesting one they had involved sculpture and installations about the Christchurch rebuild - including giving away free "cups" made of silt, stone and rock from rubble and carparks after the quake. You could drink tea from a real piece of Christchurch and keep it. Talk to the staff while you're there and they will give you a whole little tour of the exhibition and answer any questions.
