Engineers Bar & Restaurant

Visited engineers for the first time on Saturday for the 'Call me maybe: 2000s + 2010s party' and I was pretty impressed! The layout was fantastic with great indoor/outdoor flow, bathrooms tidy, service decent and plenty of drink options...although...a little pricey considering my partner got the red bull and vodka for $15 and they used the remainder of the Redbull in the next order rather than just giving it too him which was odd but guess a place can't be perfect! All and all a cool place with great atmosphere...just don't expect all the Redbull if you get vodka and Redbull

Great location , middle of town so parking can be difficult/expensive. Service was below average, long wait times and not much attention at all. Food was good and drink selection was good

The courtyard is nice for a sunny day! It’s got great atmosphere. The food is good and also some nice cocktails.
Service has been a bit hit and miss the times that I have been here but nothing too terrible.

It's a very popular place in Christchurch for a bar so expect it to get packed. A good place to go with friends, drinks are alright but the wait can be long because of the amount of people, and pricey too. Been here a few times with friends and mostly noticed how busy it was, but as far as bars go with a high night life this is one of the better ones.
