Good way to spend a day. It has a great range of exhibits and lots of changing exhibits which keeps it interesting.

love Canterbury museum especially the dinosaur section. Has always been my favorite and the little cave with the moa bones

awesome main museum,lots of exhibitions and things to do and see, cool areas for the kids to get more involved, just wish they would add new exhibitions more often., also parking is a bit of a nightmare as theres nothing close

Big museum with lots to see; there's detailed, informative exhibits throughout the museum. The staff are also informative and helpful as they greet you at the door. It takes a few hours to go through all the exhibits though as there's so much to see!

Great place to spend, especially the current Air NZ exhibition which give lots of fun with my kid.
