Canterbury Museum

We as a family love this museum! It has a great sensory room for kids, suitable for babies all the way up and only costs about $2 I think. We last went when they had a Traditional Japanese Tattoo exhibition on display and it was just beautiful

Great variety of display to watch, history about New Zealand and some international craft too, sometime there are exhibition that makes locals also want to visit that place several time. Great for family and kids.

Love. This. Place. It's free, it's interesting, it's always putting on new exhibits, and my kids love the learning zone on the top floor. A brilliant way to spend Saturday afternoon.

Very cool museum, loved the paua shell house

Everytime we visit Ch-ch this museum is always on our to do list with the kids.They have an extensive array of natural and cultural exhibits and discovery world is always a must do for the kids.
