Love this place! My daughters especially love the siscovery part very inviting and always changing :)

Love this place! The heritage street with all of the olden day costumes is a real treat, plus the interactive discovery centre is heaps of fun. The temporary exhibitions like dinosaurs and Egyptian mummies are awesome too - heaps for the entire family to enjoy.

Great place to go with children or by yourself. So much to see and for children to experience. There a cafe there also that does great food, average coffee though.

This is a lovely museum. It has a wide range of exhibits. I've visited many times, and always see something new and interesting each time. The location is excellent, as there are many other attractions nearby, including shuttle buses to attractions that are further afield. They have a discovery room for children, which is filled with lots of hands-on exhibits, and great fun for the younger ones. There is also a cafe, which is very child friendly.

Favourite place in Christchurch! Fantastic knowledgeable staff and great displays. Definitely check out the Discovery centre. Great new interactive set up for school holiday entertainment too.
