This is a very interesting museum just by Hagley Park. Great place to visit and learn about the history of New Zealand. Entry is free! I loved exhibits, such as the heritage streets of Christchurch in the early settlement days and the costumes of authority. I thoroughly enjoyed the documentary film on Fred and Myrtle Flutey's Paua Shell House in Bluff. I spent the entire day here! Highly recommended!

Lovely place to go with family and friends and highly recommend for tourists to visit. It shows the history of New Zealand. Very interesting place to go from ages young to old.

A fantastic museum. The Egyptian Mummy is freaky. There are xrays and MRI scans on display in the room. Overall a great place to come to, and well worth a visit.

This Museum is great. Always changing and having different and exciting displays and exhibits. Staff are welcoming and helpful.

A very nice free educated place for kids and tourist. Especially with the Air New Zealand exhibition it is very interesting.
