Canterbury Museum

Great place to go with children or by yourself. So much to see and for children to experience. There a cafe there also that does great food, average coffee though.

This is a lovely museum. It has a wide range of exhibits. I've visited many times, and always see something new and interesting each time. The location is excellent, as there are many other attractions nearby, including shuttle buses to attractions that are further afield. They have a discovery room for children, which is filled with lots of hands-on exhibits, and great fun for the younger ones. There is also a cafe, which is very child friendly.

I love taking my daughter to the museum she learns so much and loves it!

Have been many times, kids never get sick of it, discovery room is a favourite worth the $2 and also enjoy getting on the horse, great way to spend a cold day,normally it's busy but don't mind braving the crowds

Great place to take the kids especially if its a rainy day. So much to look at. The discovery room is amazing and keeps kids amused for ages. Both my daughters loved it. Only downside is the parking is not the best
