Countdown Supermarkets

Nice having a big brand new Supermarket out in Mosgiel. It has a good product range.

Has not been in factory road for a long time now. Good shop

Mosgiel is proud to have this relatively new Countdown store. The old store was too small and well passed its time; so for staff and customers alike, this clean, bright and user-friendly outlet provides a nice shopping experience. Their roast chickens are a particular favourite for many and I really like the fresh salad greens and deli salads. I can usually find the buttercrunch lettuce here which I prefer. My only negative would be their wines: that is, they advertise a particular special but it's sold out when you go to purchase. I don't know whether it's a matter of insufficient stock or not restocking shelves. Apart from that ...well done.

Great supermarket, good selection, deli very good.
