Pukeko's Nest Cafe & Gifts

We stopped in for a coffee at Pukeko's Nest - the coffee and hot chocolate were great, plus a good selection of food, some a bit naughty like their delicious caramel slice. Also a good selection of kiwi-flavoured souvenirs and craft - I was able to find some good pressies here to take home to Aus. An ideal spot for a break in your journey.

The cafe does not pretend to be a trendy cafe. The food is basic, reasonably priced and pretty tasty and conveniently situated on the highway.

They make the best tasting chocolate afghans at this store. Yum! The coffee tasted really good and I would recommend to others as a good stop off.

really great cafe, their lunch options are amazing. I always come here with workmates or my college friends. this place has a great vibe to just chill and enjoy. they have a good range of coffee and also have alternate milk options available
