we come here for a good mid week meal. the food is really nice and the staff and restaurant lovely as well

Very generous portion & the coating on them takes them to a whole new level! Also got a roast beef meal. Unfortunately, that was lacking - meat was over cooked & dry and the gravy was tasteless & watery. The weighing of meals is also something I've never seen before.

Nice wee spot. No pretensions here. What you see is what you get. Good old fashioned kiwi style food with some asian and bakery stuff on the side. So good for tradies a hot meal at value in minutes. Tip top.
