Overall, I found the rolls a bit pricey but I did recognize that these were high quality sushi rolls. They were refreshingly different! I definitely recommend this place!

We went here just prior to the first NZ Covid lockdown so actually the restaurant was pretty empty - but I would imagine from the size and facilities that it would get crazy busy during peak travel season in normal circumstances.

The food was pretty good without being great and the price was a touch high - but this place is a tourist destination right next to Lake Tekapo so you're probably paying a bit extra for that great view

The best Japanese restaurant I've ever visited. It's located at the back of the main shops with great view of the lake. Great I mean great customer service and very tasty Japanese food. They do takeaways which is surprusingly high standard as well. It's very close to the food you will have when dine-in. Highly recommended.

Had a family lunch here after this place was recommended by friends. The restaurant was full and we had no booking but only had to wait a couple of minutes for a table. The service was very good and the quality of the food was excellent. A little on the pricey side but then you have to remember that you are in a tourist area and paying for quality food. The bentu box was delicious.
