Tekapo's best kept secret. Japanese restaurant hidden out the back of the main strip of shops. This place has surprisingly amazing Japanese food (Salmon is perfection) and the staff are so appreciative of your patronage... Definitely worth a stop if you are staying in Tekapo.

Properly the best restaurant in the area. The food was awesome! Better than most of the Japanese restaurants in Christchurch. But it is a bit pricey.

didnt think need to book so end up waited one hour for our table. food was good but portion size is small. tasty but pricy.

The star of the show is the view, so it is laudable that the kitchen puts the effort in to produce good quality authentic Japanese food, as in this location they would probably do well even if the food was mediocre.
