General Info

Kaiapoi Aquatic Centre is an Indoor Pool facility enjoyed by residents and visitors to the town. We offer - Learn to swim and water safety programmes, Schools swimming lessons, Aquarobics, Lane swimming, Masters swimming, Birthday pool parties and more! The main pool is 25 m long and comprises of six lanes. Each lane is 2.2 m wide allowing for plenty of room for lane swimmers. The pool has a shallow end of 1 m and a deep end of 1.45 m which allows for a wide range of aquatic activities including Aquarobics, lane swimming, recreational swimming and more. The pool is heated to a pleasant 28-29o. The pool can be entered on one side by a ramp, which allows easy access for those with mobility issues. The learners and toddlers pool is 12 m long and 6 m wide, and has a depth of 0.75 m at the shallow end and 0.9 m at the deep end. This pool operates at a temperature of around 32o, making it a fantastic place for children learning to swim within our structured programmes. The pool's design and location also allows it to double as additional recreational space at key times. A waterfall flows from the learners pool down into the toddlers pool, which has a beach area and provides an excellent place for parents with smaller children.
