      General Info

      Open in the summer, the Village Pool is a five-pool outdoor complex in the heart of Havelock North on Havelock Domain and playground. Heated to 24 degrees, the pools comprise of a 33 metre pool with two dedicated lanes for lap swimming, a toddler pool, learner pool, two-metre deep pool and babies splash pool in a securely fenced-off area. Shaded spots and a grassed area for games make the Village Pool the perfect place to picnic after stocking up on goodies from our snack shop. We also provide a BBQ to hire. A base for the Waimarama Surf Club and the Havelock North Swim Club, the Village Pool is also regularly used for school swimming sports.

      Great pools for all ages. Sheltered and nice grass area. Situated next to the Village Green (park). Unfortunate that "Season Family Passes are not available any longer as these made swimming most days over summer affordable. Basic changing room facilities.

      So nice to have outdoor heated swimming pool. Extends the swimming season that much more. Great place for fun and awesome life guards on duty. The kids love it here.
