Waikato District Health Board (DHB) employs over 6500 people and plans, funds and provides hospital and health services to more than 391,770 people in a region covering eight per cent of New Zealand. Waikato DHB, through its provider arm Health Waikato, has hospitals in Hamilton, Thames, Tokoroa, Te Kuiti and Taumarunui. Excellent service, the hospital was super busy when we arrived but they took us through straight away and we were able to see the doctor almost immediately. They were extremely efficient and the nurses and doctors seemed to go out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and well informed, thank you so much

I cannot speak highly enough of the Wai kids team!!! The nurses are so fantastic, as a parent of a medically sick child I have spent 1000's of hours here and the I have always founf the staff understand and amazing.

We took our little lady up to the hospital, she was seen immediately. The Doctors and Nurses were fantastic and super patient. Still took 5hrs to get her sorted so would love to see this improve.

I've been to the hospital twice for two separate issues and two different departments. The staff are amazing and friendly, they make you feel like you're in good hands. There is always someone around if you have any questions. Unfortunately the wait can be a bit long.
