Approaching a panelbeater less than a week before Christmas and asking them to perform a roof rust repair involving cutting out a significant chunk of roof, welding a plate in, grinding the welds and priming it... so that your car can have it's WoF before Christmas... insanity itself.

However, this is what I did, and to my delight not only did Murray manage to fit the car in within 48 hours, but he rang me to say that he decided to put some paint and sealant on as well - at no extra cost - and because of that he had a courtesy car waiting for me since the sealant had not yet dried.

The next day, my car was returned to me at my place of work, the courtesy car taken away, and I was given a rough estimate on having the rest of the roof repainted because they had noticed the rest of the clearcote was starting to blister from the sun, and would soon deprive the roof of any rust protection.

On top of that, this was all done for one of the lowest prices I was quoted after canvassing over a dozen other panelbeaters, with estimate ranging from $100 more to well over $1,000 more than Murray quoted me!

Giving Murray and the team full credit for being awesome, and a little gift basket as a token of my thanks, seems to be far less than they deserve, but they have this with my deepest thanks for being the most amazing crew around. Highly recommend them over everyone else!
