Waited for over 90 minutes for a tow, was very rude and dismissive when he showed up. Never apologized for being so terribly late. Kept asking me what "I had done to it" and when I said nothing, it's just been breaking down lately and had just gotten out of the shop he kept saying that it had nothing to do with the "service" (it had just gotten back from a repair). Was so rude that the young man (21 year old) who was with me felt the need to try to take over the situation since it was apparent he had no desire to speak to a woman in anything but a rude fashion. Company then towed the car to the wrong automotive repair shop and on the phone were adamant that they hadn't. I had just spoken to the shop and I can *see* them from my workplace. When I told them repeatedly it wasn't there, I had spoken to the shop, he asked me where I was (??) and I said, "At work, across from the repair shop!". Then he finally conceded that maybe it wasn't there (like I was too stupid to understand the repair shop guy's words or was lying??) and that he would check with his driver.
So much unnecessary frustration on both my one day off of work and on a Monday morning. All it would have taken was a bit of common courtesy from the onset and when the mistake occurred and I wouldn't be even mentioning it, but it's been nothing but systemic rudeness from this outfit.

What an awful company. My sons girlfriend works in Hamilton CBD, and works very late hours as so tries to park as close to her place of employment as she can and has done so without incident up until last night. She left work in the early hours to find her car gone. Of course a young woman alone late at night can be very unnerving. She found out that her car had been towed and when she asked how to get her car back they said they were closing in the next five minutes, if she wanted her car then she would have to pay a further $40 on top of the $200 fine. When she got there they insisted she pay cash (alarm bells ringing here for me!) she didn't she held her own and paid by eftpos. What concerns me more that anything about this company is how when she spoke to the person in charge he was borderline abusive and felt no concern about the fact she was stranded in the city without her car. Personally I think they are shoddy and unprofessional and I will be following this up. I will be contacting the company who own the space to find out if they had permission to tow her vehicle and also for photographic evidence. Poor Show Active towing, shame on you. Unfortunately I have to give a start rating, 1 star is far too generous.
