Breakers Gisborne

wife and mother to dinner as a last resort (busy Monday night) but wow were we glad to have made it here. The dinner meals were all delicious, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the desserts were absolutely amazing! If you don't mind a casual vibe (order at the counter and such) then pop in and give them a try.

Great food and staff. Love this place! Nice comfortable seating and atmosphere. Great selection of food to choose from. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Just ordered Sunday Roast Pork. The pork was disgustingly dry and leathery and had been reheated on a grill. When ordering roast pork I expect crackling but I guess because the pork wasn’t roasted, there was no crackling. Advised the staff member when I returned the plate with all the meat still on it and all I got was Sorry. We had shouted my partners father who is a regular on a Sunday night and he even said that this meal is “by far the worst” he’s had there.

Chicken tenders for entree yum and scotch fillet, one with mushroom and bacon and the other with garlic and parsley sauce. They were both cooked perfectly and we really enjoyed our meal. Friendly staff and quick service. We visited here on our way back from a roadtrip to Gisborne.
