Welcome to the University Book Shop - Dunedin's finest book shop. We have a non-fiction selection that covers a wide range of subjects - from science to business, history to religion and everything in-between. Our fiction sections are unsurpassed in the South Island and we carry a wide range of classic, contemporary and new writers. We stock all Otago university and polytechnic textbooks, and also have 2nd hand textbooks available for those studying at the University of Otago. Our dedicated textbook store at UBS On Campus is conveniently located in the OUSA Archway. For our younger booklovers we have the captivating Children¿s Room and Book Shop downstairs, with story-time on the magic carpet every Friday and Saturday at 10.30am. great range of books to be able to find everything for course in one place is handy and you can grab some books for family as well its affordable the staff are friendly and its well laid out and set out and easy to find what you are looking for

Small shop with a wide range of literature and non-fiction, as well as the usual bestsellers tucked in amongst them. My first stop for anything literature or poetry related.

Review seems to have not gone through...There are plenty of bookstores in Dunedin but none have the range that this premises has. You can be guaranteed of finding a good gift book in a genres of your choice, plus if they don't have it then they are pretty good at ordering in any title you need.

The real strength of this shop is its gifts and stationary- so many lovely things. As an avid reader of American fiction, I find it difficult to find my authors there (I think it has more of a European lean, what people want) but that does not mean that I don't buy stuff- I totally do!

I ordered all of my course books online here. Always had what i needed and latest version. Delivery was prompt, overnight and packaged well to protect the books.
