Penguin Cafe

Came here after checking out the Albatross, and it made the day even better. The food was very tasty, and really well done, and the staff were bright and bubbly. Would go back, if out that way again.

Yummy chicken pasta great sauce nice mix of vegetables and sauce the hot chocolate was served in a good sized mug and was hot and tasted sweet the prices were affordable good location and friendly staff

Came here after seeing the Albatross colony! AMAZING! Food was lovely as were the staff and service.

A nice wee cafe for tradition kiwi food for a pie or roasted sandwich was on the menu when we visited. Not really much for special diets or cabnit food but it was getting on a winter afternoon when we visited so complety expected. Very welcoming hosts and the lady cooking was lovely popping out of the kitchen asking one of our group if he wanted cheese in his toastie since she had it out for the other one in our group he was keen! Toasties arrived nice and cheesy the pair . Coffee was well made as well, nice view of the bay topped it off. It was a lovely afternoon put stop.
