Penguin Cafe

I usually come here on my way to Portbello and the cafe is nice. The food is nice and has a range of cooked food to offer and drinks. On a rainy day a hot meal can be nice . I may go again in the next month coming.

It may look a bit basic from the outside but the service, food and coffee are a treat to behold. We both had French toast accompanied by bacon, maple syrup and poached fruit. The latter just made the combo. Coffee was strong and well made.

Super welcoming and friendly. Down home cooking done well. Lovely outlook to the bay. The bacon and egg sanga was generous and delicious.

Cool little spot. Good amount of parking. Was nice and clean, we decided not to eat here as we thought it was a bit steeply priced for snacks. My juice was really nice, But sadly no one enjoyed their coffees. Great coffee is lacking in this part of the country, the smallest techniques would improve the quality and keep people returning to this prime location.
