Countdown Supermarkets

Easily the supermarket I frequent the most in Dunedin. Large central location site with a lot of parking. You can access entry ways to parking lot from three different streets. It has the earliest and latest opening and closing hours, respectively, of any supermarket in Dunedin, which is fantastic if you need some urgent early/late. Good range of products. They also recently added a Countdown Pharmacy which is super convenient for shoppers.

Come here most nights staff are nice and always willing to help when needed.

Other than people using the disabled parks when they don’t actually have a disability, it’s a friendly and convenient place

I like to go here since it opens very early.I am a morning person and enjoy doing grocery shopping early as there are less cars.The car park is huge and right in the city centre.They have good bargains and cheaper than supermarket nearby.I felt confused sometimes since the arrangement of stuffs change several times in a year.

This was the first supermart we went to in Dunedin. We got a good bargain and the chicken roast was great. There is ample parking and the store is central.
