Great tours. The dissapearing gun was cool. Nice staff and cafe

It was OK. It was interesting, but the actual albatross watch is very overpriced for what it is.

Wonderful albatross and little blue penguin tours. The information centre is a great place just to have a look around, and the cafe is has fantastic hot chocolates.

Visited this place twice, took both the albatross and the penguin tour. I prefer the albatross experience, together with a tour of the fortress (where you can also spot albatross nests). Depends on the time of the year you will see a different life stage of the albatross chicks. We visited in May, so the chicks were grown up and ready to fly.
The penguin tour was good too, but was rather late at night. April was not a good time as it was the moulting season...so you won't see as many birds coming back from the sea (because they are busy shredding their feather somewhere in the bush). You can call and check with the centre, the staff is very helpful.

The guides are very informative and you get great views of the point and the birds - a bit of a hill up to the look out. You also get a bit of history with the hidden gun.
