The cafe offers an extensive all day menu & the food is excellent quantity & quality. Very reasonably priced. Very friendly & chatty staff. Good service.

I went to this cafe for a night function and we are buffet style. The food was average. They do have an exceptional hot leg of ham that tasted fantastic. I could have made a more presentable salad at home. The service was quite slow. I did not feel the price per person was worth what we were served.

Although signposted along the route, The Top of the Dome restaurant is hidden from view and can be easily missed. The food was fresh and the cooked meals are very generous. Auckland prices, but I guess, worth it. Bush views and peaceful and quiet, considering it's on the state highway at Warkworth.
