What a brilliant service! We had our first trip to the new centre a few weeks back and it was great, the entertainment for young children was great and kept my little one quiet and happy while waiting to be seen. Staff are always so helpful and friendly. The new place is so clean and functional, overall I was very impressed with the service we received.

I’ve always received really great treatment and care here, they are fair with the other they take patients ensuring babies and small children are seen quickly. The staff are caring friendly and patient and the facilities are clean and modern.

Great medical center. I got some counselling sessions free through Pegasus health and my counsellor was excellent. The reception staff at Pegasus health are very friendly and the wait time is short to see a doctor. Reasonable prices. Clean and spacious inside and plenty of parking on street.

Be Prepared to Wait
I recently visited the 24-hour facility (on Madras Street) and waited 4.5 hours in the waiting room but I never got to see a doctor. I had a blood vessel burst in my eye and my GP recommended I visit your facility. This was in the middle to the day and I knew my issue wasn’t absolutely urgent so I was prepared to wait when I arrived.
The issues started upon arrival. I waited for 15 minutes behind a patient who was leaving and they needed to turn in their paperwork. Once I got to the counter, the lady who was supposed to check me in stopped to answer the phone on three separate occasions. I found this extremely rude and a poor use of her time. One would think someone in a back office would be assigned phone duties – not the only person checking patients in.
Once I got checked in I was told to wait in the red chairs to be seen by the triage nurse. The triage nurse examined me briefly and was very professional. She then told me to wait in the black chairs for my named to be called.
Three hours later I inquired with the triage nurse when I could expect to be seen. I saw her make four separate phone calls on my behalf over the next hour and she came out to me several times to explain that one person in front of me. Later on she said I was next in queue. My name was never called.
After four and a half hours, I called an ophthalmologist who happened to have a cancelled appointment that evening and was happy to see me.
I arrived at noon on a Tuesday and left just after 4:30 and never saw a doctor. That is totally unacceptable. I understand that my injury didn’t require immediate help but I was told there were four doctors there that day. The number of patients in the waiting room was only 10-12 people the entire time. They called other people’s name but never mine.
Obviously, this specific situation isn’t going to be resolved after the fact but I have to wonder how many other patients have to endure this level of treatment – or in my case, my non-treatment. My visit wasn’t in the middle of the night with only two doctors on call. One should expect and receive a better level of care than this.

Great to have an option of it's the weekend or own drs is full. Downside is the wait times can be 1 - 2 hours .... not such fun when you are a sick kid just having to wait. Drs are all very efficient. .
