Maharaja Indian Restaurant

Hm it auto selects very good on 3.5 stars but there are a couple of things that let this place down: the one I wanted to mention is the lack of wait staff training. The young girls are very subservient to an embarrassing degree; they collapse mentally a bit - even though my mate was being a tiny bit hard on them, nothing really bad he was just trying to find some spunk/personality in them I think. They need to be assertive and expect people to pause to let them put the food down without acting like scared mice. They are lovely girls they just need to be a bit more ballsy so it's not too embarrassing. Maybe with experience they will be really good. It honestly made me want to get out of there and not consider desserts or coffee. The food was standardly good, parking excellent, and tables FELT very close together somehow. Would go there again with others but I wouldn't be suggesting it to people in my top 5 Indian restaurants in town.

A fabulous restaurant. Excellent food and comes out piping hot, and you don't have to wait long for it. Staff are lovely and very friendly. One of our favourites.

A family favourite. Staff are friendly, often remember us on each visit. Food is great and served rather quickly too. Reasonable pricing too. We drive from the other side of town as this is the best Indian food around.

Indian food is a favorite of mine and this place never disappoints. Lovely food, reasonably priced and very friendly staff. Such a lovely restaurant too. A lot of work has gone into turning the house into a restaurant and it looks great!

Curry and naan are perfectly filling and just right. Haven't had takeaways or came for dinner, just lunch, but can recommend the lunch deals.
