The Auckland War Memorial Museum

was pressured by a very rude cashier to donate when we went in, there was also without a lie 100s and 100s of school children being so unbelievably and unreasonably loud and shoving my 7 year old daughter out of the way that we asked the assistant would they step in and ask them to quieten down and they just shrugged and said no so we left.

Definitely the kind of museum you will be returning to again and again, as there is just os much to see. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it in the Domain afterwards - it's a lovely day out with kids young or old.

I liked the museum and a bit of walking to do and still like how I remember it in Intermediate and has the voice recordings of men in the war in pain and also trying to survive and are in fear, which causes them to cry and want someone to save them. I think parking can be hard and also the food prices can be a bit steep me and my mates went to MacDonald as it was worth going there then buying at the cafe.

Massive exhibition and educational experience here, in the Akl museum. Free entry for Auckland residents and a great place to go. There are 120 minutes and 180 minutes free parking around the area or choose the underground paid parking. Remember the history and make a better future.

Love that it is a war memorial museum but now that I have a young child I wish there was more use of digital and interactive exhibits like at Te Papa. Would also be better to have a large interactive area for kids easily accessible for young children on the ground floor.
