The Auckland War Memorial Museum

One of the the places you just have to go and explore for yourself. Iv been so many times and still find new things to see and do. A great way to learn about NZ History. Different exhibitions throughout the year. And free if your an Auckland resident.

Helpful and friendly staff. Lots to look at and easy to get around. Great cultural performance for visitors to NZ

There's no better place to spend a cold wet winter's day than the Auckland museum. Free for Auckland residents with proof required upon entrance. Plenty of free parking outside or paid covered ones beneath the building. Great place to kill some time with baby. Mine was lucky and fell asleep inside.

Loads of parking around this area, but still sometimes hard to find a carpark. So much history in the museum, I bring my children here to learn about the battles and other things that this country has endured. The food here in the cafe is really expensive, but I like the coffees.

Auckland War Museum is great, we visited when the 75 Years of Air New Zealand display was on. We loved it how admission was free for New Zealand Residents and the staff were helpful and nice. The museum taught us a lot about New Zealand and its history. Cafe is a little expensive though.
