My favourite Museum in the whole of NZ. Went and saw the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibit and was blown away. Free entry if you are an Auckland resident, which is awesome. Parking can be a bit tough on the weekends, so go during a week day if you can. Love this place so much

Came here with my family for the day. Spent a lot of time in the Maori section looking at all the masks and weapons that would have been used during primitive times. Staff where friendly and knew there stuff. The world war two exhibits were amazing and informative. Highly recommended.

Always something new to see every time I visit. The staff are helpful if you have any questions or are lost.. a great activity for everyone in the family!

Been here many times over the years and it is always a good visit. The Museum itself is a beautiful building set over a few levels. Many exhibits which are interesting and interactive. Free for Aucklanders which is great and is a good day out at a great location, plenty of parking. Onsite cafe is quite expensive.

My favourite museum to visit. Has a great mix of traditional museum displays and more modern interactive exhibits. "Fun for all ages" actually applies to this place. The Columbus there is a bit average but that's a separate thing, the museum itself is great.
