Ive been waiting for 3 weeks for a spring for my rtd ride on. Went in after 2 weeks and my broken spring was sitting on the counter with staff saying how busy they are.Told they will ring later same day.No call. I rung today and same story, they have been busy. Pathetic excuse. But they said again they will ring back today. Nothing at 6.35pm . Swanson Mowers sorted it in 5 min with stock out back. Te Atatu Mowers 3 weeks and lies and not sorted. You decide whos better. Waste of time visiting Te Atatu mowers, they use to be good but arnt now for any small purchases.

Took my Masport lawn mower in for repairs, they wanted me to pay 30.00, waited a week and they came back with a quote of 180.00. I could service my car for less. I thank them and went to pick up my lawn mower, they did not bother to put back my lawn mower together, the spark plug and screws were in a bag with the filter and the pertol tank was not reattached. Not recommended to anyone. Have no regard of other peoples property, and just because you do not want to spend dollars a large amount of money at their shop, they take your lawn mower apart and do not put it back together again. Avoid these money hungry cowboys. BEWARE OF THIS REPAIR SHOP. If I could upload photos I would upload the pictures I have taken of my lawn mower.

Have had my mower and leaf blower repaired here, and also purchased a petrol strimmer and petrol lawnmower here and very happy with price and service.
Regarding RuthK's comments here: Not sure what your gripe is. $30 for their time to dismantle and appraise the cost of repair is fair, you were obviously quoted $180 for repairs - not a service. A service might cost you $180 on your car (if you go for lowest possible cost - you can spend much much more) but not repairs, which I assume would include parts plus labour plus GST. In your opinion, if the cost of repair is not worth it, why put it back together? Also it gives you the chance to confirm visually any problems, which you would not be able to do if they put it back together.
