Takapuna Motor Lodge

Great motor lodge in takapuna, was a good nights stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful with good knowledge about the area and suggestions on where we should eat.

The worst place I have stayed at in years. I booked a 1 bedroom apartment for myself and 3 kids because the photos looked quite good. On arrival I was told I was upgraded, however they only upgraded the number of rooms, the room was an absolute dump. The bathroom had mould between the tiles and spots of mould on the ceiling. The bathroom was so old and disgusting it was horrible. I asked for the room I originally paid for but they said they had already checked someone else into it. The staff were extremely unhelpful. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
