Star Drycleaning

Wasn't impressed with the quality of the machines, it seemed like 1 every 3 machines was either faulty, damaged or out if order. The ones that did work had a huge waiting line. I ended up going to another drycleaners.

Albany Star Dry cleaning are very pricey for what they provide. Okay dry cleaning but for a no frills customer service they don't provide a no frills price.

Charge like a wounded bull.
Told $75 for a ball dress with 2 stains and told they look impossible to shift and would take 5 days.
Took it to Orewa Drycleaners, ready in 2 days, $20.

Dry cleaning service was okay, but their alterations were absolute garbage. I had work pants shortened and they couldn't even get that right, making it too short which made it look like clown pants.

Waste of money and time.

We paid about $45 to dry clean a jacket, we mentioned about wrapping up the zip and metal bits beforehand, they confirmed firmly. But, they forgot, and it's all discoloured, and all we got was - "oh, we forgot."

Oh well, will never return then.
